Assisting Clients with the Purchase
of Broodmares & Yearlings

Whether you consider yourself a racehorse owner, a breeder, or perhaps a little of both, Brinkerhoff Bloodstock's sole purpose is to help you get the very most out of your investment, on the racetrack and down the road in the auction ring.

Some clients come to BBS to have Bruce inspect sale yearlings, weanlings or broodmares, based on conformation and pedigree, after they've already narrowed down their list; others come here first to review what pedigrees and individuals might work best at the racing or breeding level in which they're interested. Some seek colts to race with the additional hope of landing the signature sire of the future, while others might be in the market for quality fillies to race and then retain for their broodmare band...with an eye on selling their foals in the years ahead.

Still others come to BBS to help build their racing or breeding operation from scratch, seeking a plan of action for acquiring horses privately or publicly that works within their budget.

Regardless of the game plan, BBS can help. Bruce has had proven success at assisting all types of owners and breeders, at both national and regional yearling and mixed sales and in private transactions.

On the yearling side, Bruce has already helped in the selection and purchase of Harness Racing's "Horse of the Year" and $2.8-million winner Bunny Lake, Stonebridge Regal, Color Me Beachy and many other outstanding stakes performers (see Client Success Stories).

On the broodmare side, Bruce has recommended clients on the purchase of 2001 USTA "Aged Trotting Mare of the Year" Casual Breeze at Harrisburg Mixed for $275,000, Art's Fantasy at Harrisburg Mixed for $95,000, and Pinery at Tattersalls January for $105,000.

Contact Bruce today, and discuss what your short term and long range plans are.
